Microsoft. Cheaper, it does what I want it to do, high level of customization and personalization.

Apple is less honest with their evil.

For game systems?
Microsoft.

Microsoft, but I'm probably being close-minded here since I think I only used a Mac once. Though the 360 gives it the edge.

I'm using Microsoft Vista, and despite all the hate, I really don't have any problems with it. Probably is problematic with the lesser-powerful computers though.

Microsoft. To me, Apple is just about getting stuff to look fancy to draw in customers rather than actually functioning the way it should. Plus pricy.

Ultimately I'll end up running a Mac with a dual boot for Snow Leopard and Windows 7, so yeah, can I vote for both?

Microsoft has screwed me over way too many times. At least Vista cost less than my broken 360, I suppose. Apple it is

Never used Apple nor will I. MS has suited my needs for the years and I don't expect that to change.

I will always run an Apple based machine.
I'm triple booting right now, waiting for Google to release their OS so I can grab that too, quad-boot win?

Apple based machine.
Win7
Leopard OSX
Ubuntu

That's the way to go!

I'm a little nervous about the Google OS. I'd love to use it if it turns out good (I use basically anything Google, really), but from what I've heard it seems it'll be lame for anyone who wants their computer to do more then just the basic stuff (in other words, gamers will be cut short).

Anyways, as for the OP, Microsoft. Apple has silly pretensions of being a "good" user friendly company, but in reality they just overprice their products for the honor of using a little "i", and create arrogance that, though it falls just short of that made by Linux, is pushed into first by the abundance of Mac users.

Also, the Mac commercials are ridiculous, aimed at the inept by putting out barely true (or downright false) information that anyone who has even a vague knowledge of technology (I'm certainly not pretending that my knowledge of computers is very great, but I do know more then the average man) would know not to be true.

Indeed. Especially since I don't do anything that requires any of the fancy tools tha Mac offers...
And I work down the street from Microsoft.

Google OS is primarily web-based. Most of your applications will run onilne, which is great for some things (like documents, photos, whatnot) since the data rentention will all be server side. I plan on running Google OS (currently named Chromium, and running off my 2GB flash drive) for quick things, like updating documents and uploading photos. lols.

As for Apple, I've always loved their hardware, namely their desktops. Lots of people throw that "overpriced" moniker at them because of their high priced laptops. I paid a meager $600 for my MacMini nearly 5 years ago. It still runs (after a small 2GB, $45 RAM upgrade) better than most average users machines. I don't play PC games so that's never been an issue.
