Guitar occasionaly double strums?

I have had my game for two days and I have noticed that when I push down, it strums twice about half the time. Anyone know what the problem is? I don't have it plugged into the usb hub for the record.

Mine does the same thing. If I hold it down and so much as breathe, it registers another strum, which makes it impossible to hold a multiplier. I'm already waiting for my empty RMA box (don't have the extra 120 bucks to spare to have held for a week and a half since I bought Rock Band...)
