I wondered if I could get to 1 million fans on my own by singing and playing guitar/bass at the same time...AND I DID IT!!! It gets tricky when you have to do both parts on expert (mostly played bass at that point), but I pulled it off! :D

Next stop: Hall of Fame!

My one-man band: DEEP FRIED TWINKIES

Hat's off to you mate.

That's a hell of an achievement for one person.

Playing "One Man BWT" feels pretty righteous, even if it's not the way the game was designed to be played (although I do it a bunch, myself).

Congrats on hitting a million fans.

Welcome to the club! I just hit that a few days ago with my solo band, "Reach for the Skyler".

yeah, I've got a one man band, too, both on expert. Say, do you have any tips I could use? Other then memorizing the vocals to death, of course...

Cool, that is my goal also. I am at 619,000 fans in my one man band, "Me, Myself, and I". I am finding the Expert/Expert combination to be very challenging though and have now resorted to only doing Ex/Ex on the 'choose you own setlist' sets and playing the songs I know really well vocally.

Congratulations! I'm at 700k playing Guitar/Vocals on Expert. I haven't done Bass/Vocals, just Guitar. It feels really good getting through the songs with 4-5 stars I must say, very rewarding. I don't even have a microphone stand yet, I just hang the mic off the top of my head down to my mouth.

Awesome Job! Congrats.

That is a Hell of an Achievement, espically by yourself.

Very Impressive, now go for endless set list, that is a feat in itself, but doing it solo, is something totally different!

Thanks for the kudos all!

My only tips is to definately keep your eye on the guitar or bass line and do you best to memorize the melody line of the vocals. Don't worry about getting the exact words. As long as you "mutter" them on key, you'll be fine.
Stick to bass on the harder songs and save your bass Overdrive in case you get into trouble.

If its a song you are confident on, activate Overdrive on both parts at the same time when possible to help you get more stars, which = more fans.

The single song sets will many times reward you with more fans than a 3-4 song set. (not quite sure why)

Toughest songs for me to pass doing Ex/Ex: Sabotage, Missippippi Queen, Give Me Shelter, I'll get By, Suffagette City

Congrats, thats a hell of an achievement. It's given me an inspiration to do one man BWT myself. I'm going to play guitar with my feet, left foot on frets, right foot strumming, while I play drums, with the bass pedal mounted behind me so I can slam it with me head! Woot! One million fans and brain damage here I come!

Wow, that's amazing man. Me and my friends are only at 500,000 fans, so we have a ways to go. Man, you put us to shame. :p

Nice! One million fans is impressive!

I think I'm at about 650,000 with Toxic Shock Therapy. I did the Hall of Fame on Expert/Hard guitar/vox in the midst of a bout of the flu (yeah, I'm that dedicated :D) and after two weeks ( !!!) of coughing and losing my vocal range I'm hoping to get healthy enough to be able to make a more serious push on Expert/Expert.
