Rock Band 2 Drums work with PS2?

I've seen all sorts of threads asking if the original Rock Band drums work with PS3, but I have PS2 and am considering getting the Rock Band 2 drums (the ones with black pads/gray ring outside). Has anyone else done this? Will they work?

Yes, the PS3 and PS2 instruments are identical. They will all work.
