How do I get my GH guitar working on Rock Band?

I thought this was possible on the 360 but I couldn't get the game to recognize my GH guitar. Any tips?

Works for me :confused: Both GH2 and GH3 guitars work.

Make sure your guitar hero controller is for the 360. All 360 models work with Rockband.

I don't know if the GH2 explorer is compatible with the USB hub supplied with Rockband but it should work if its plugged directly into the 360. I know for a fact that the wireless Les Paul does work.

I've personally used two different GH2 Explorers with the hub and can confirm they do work with RockBand on the 360.

I think I figured out the problem. It seems that it would only recognize it if it was plugged into the port before turning on the 360. Awesome. Thanks all!

i can also confirm that the GH2 guitar will work with Rockband...but can anyone tell me why my Rockband Guitar wont work with GH3?...or GH2
