Noobie question

Hi All;
I bought RB for Xbox 360 here but I have some doughts abou t playing it. Cant I use the joystick on XBOX 360 to play the guitars or bass? The only option that it let me use is Vocals. Is that right?

... yeah, the controller triggers the mic... honestly I don't understand why anyone would want to play with a controller... and I don't understand why it's in GH... that's why the guitars are there ;)

I undertand your poiny of view but sometimes it makes easier to play with friends just with joysticks. On GH I know I can play only with the joystick but I am a little disapointed with RB 'cause of this detail. And here in BRAZIL such things as guittars, bass and drumers are so expensive unfortunatly. Isnt there a patch or somethink like that to release the play with jus joystick?

Eh, my friend always would use a controller for GH. Whats the point? So what, you now have the ability to hit 43 thousand notes a second.. its not that fun. It would give you crazy big ending freestyle points though..

... the point of the game is to give you a BAND experience... without instruments you're not going to get that experience... I honestly don't know why you would buy the game if you couldn't get peripherals for it... there's just no point, and I highly doubt if they'll impliment a patch for this... there's no reason to.

but thats not the point (making points and stuff), is just about having fun with my friends. Not using the game like a PRO but as a noobie and just like that. RB should have the option to be played just with joystick if we want so. That's all that I am saying. :-(
