The Band instead of Rock Band.

Maybe if it was named Your/My/The Band instead of Rock Band then any band song could be played. Slow, Power ballad, acoustic, etc...
You could still add these types of tracks but the game would be aptly named and I think would draw more people to play. Some of the people I have talked to have been put off by the name "Rock Band". Which is sad cause it is such a great game.

Seriously, Rock is a VERY broad classification, and encompasses pretty much any music that uses two guitars, a singer, and drums as their main 'instruments'... Unless you really think "Bluegrass Band" or "Zydeco Bad" are going to be big hits. (Now that I think about it... "Bluegrass Band" sounds kind of fun !) But anyway, the types of music you listed, all can be hyphenated with the word 'rock' and still mean the same genre of music. Slow-Rock, Power-Ballad-Rock, Acoustic-Rock. Anyone who is into any of those types of music, would not be averse to buying this game simply because it had "rock" in the name.

I refuse to play any of the Halo series because there is nothing related to angels or halos anywhere in the game, it is a major disappointment.
