my old roommate dragged me to see this in the theaters with their knuckledragging brother and his friends who were in town for an Arch Enemy concert. that person is no longer my roommate.

Iron Man is probably one of the best superhero movies they've made thus far. This is actually the first time I've heard someone say they seriously disliked it. Don Cheadle is the only part of the 2nd movie that really upsets me. Terrence Howard would have been awesome.

I will take it for what it is. An action movie with little substance. And I will enjoy it.

Don Cheadle does not seem right for this role I will agree, BUT Scarlett Johansson more than makes up for that in my eyes. <3 ScarJo.

cheadle is in the film because howard wanted more money than downey.

I could care less who plays him - WAR MACHINE IS AWESOMENESS INCARNATE.

Not like Terrence Howard was the best fit for the role either...

All I know is that the comic bok nerd inside me has been hibernating and will soon resurface to bask in the glow of red and gold.

Actually, Howard was paid more than Downey for the first one. In general Favreau didn't like working with Howard because his scenes had to be reshot several times. When they were negotiating contracts for the second movie, they wanted to pay Howard less than they did in the first movie so Howard backed out.

The first was not nearly as good as people said it was, so I don't have very high hopes for this one.
