I have a band in BWT and my friends arent good at rockband it so I was wondering why I cant play BWT by myself and the other bandmates be cpu like in 2 or 3 player mode i dont see why they cant do this it wouldnt be difficult to patch in or anything.

yea but bwt has so much more depth than solo mode you can chose your gigs and mystery setlist and fans and all that good stuff.

Right but it was designed to be played as "band" ie, with someone else, but you can pop out and use your same character in solo mode, unlock shirts and/or songs, then when your friends are around.. go back to BWT.
I think BWT should stay just as is to encourage that social aspect that makes RB so wonderful.

they have taken up a novel approach in the gaming world... trying to help (making) people get lives.
i for one thank them. since with all the need to never leave their bedrooms, most gamers have become grumpy trolls. and it would be nice to have normal people to play with online once in a while.. of course that will never happen cause grump trolls are stubborn..

Solution: Get new friends! :D
But seriously, HMX didn't make a solo BWT because they want the simulated experience of playing in a band with your friends and having fun. I'm pretty sure they didn't wanna create another GH franchise where the kids sat in the rooms all day just trying to beat scores. This game is more than ridiculously crazy songs and high scores; it's about having fun with your friends.

True but why is there a fan limit if they want you to have fun becuase when they try playing on hard they just fail and we loose more fans its fustrating

*sees the dead horse, and the sticks with which to beat it, and proceeds to leave before the flogging starts*

Sounds like:
A) You're a crappy friend for not helping them as a much as possible.. I'm pretty sure at one point you sucked at games like this, even if you already knew how to play guitar- you sucked early on with that as well.
B) How do you get past medium? Practice. How do you get past hard? Practice.
I'd recommend if you're of drinking age, have some drinks, work on 3-4 songs with them on medium, when they nail it on medium, switch to hard and help them grasp the orange fret and ho/po idea as much as possible. Run them through the tutorials and just chill.
Then when you're alone you can try the mic stand idea, but I'm more interested in getting our fake band up to hard/expert someday than just getting to that level myself.
