Rock Band 2 Store Freezes for PS3

When I click through to the store, it appears to connect.

It gets to the screen where you could ideally browse songs, and then freezes completely. Only thing I can do at that point is hit the PS button and end the game.

What gives??

Also don't outsource your QA department that's weak and hurts the economy in order to save relatively little scratch. whoop de doo your bottom line slightly improves at the cost of actual human beings' ability to put food on their table. for shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! :)

This is happening to me too. Ever since I downloaded the Rock Band 2 "update" the music store has gone to ****. Nothing will load and immediately upon entering the music store my system freezes. I can hit the PS button and choose quit game, but it never takes me to the PS3 home menu. Instead my system locks up with a black screen and all I can do is hold the power button on the PS3 until the system turns off. Obviously I won't be making any DLC purchases until this is resolved.

same here once my friend told me to download some songz for his rock band 2 for his ps3 it freezes when its downloading

There is an issue where the update now forces you to use a certain controller number to browse the store. Try using the regular controller and reassigning it to the different controller numbers. Most people say it works for them when they reassign their controller to #1, but mine worked when I reassigned to #3 for some reason.

I usually just use the PSN store anyway though.
