Can we just stop with the spamming of complaints?

Everyone on this board is complaining like crazy about their stuff not working. You are all so worked up about your faulty instruments that you aren't using your brain. Some of you are saying "We SHOULD voice our opinion!". They know you're pissed. Point made.

You say EA has horrible customer support. Yea, it has not been so hot. I completely agree per the stories I have heard. Personally, I had a fine experience with the online RMA system. At least they are providing you options.

There are HMX and EA reps scattered across this board. For awful CS, thats convenient huh /sarcasm? You wont see many other companies that take the time to waste their business day on a pointless message board filled with 12 year old kids.

Im NOT condoning actions taken by ANYONE to release the faulty peripherals or to fail at distributing new ones. I understand that this has been a horrible process for some, and I know thats bad. BUT, complaining about it here and spamming up the message board does NOTHING for it.

Maybe we can add a specific forum....."Im pissed about Rock Band and want to vent to people on the internet". Sounds good to me.

Seriously guys. Everyone KNOWS what kind of problems you are having. You might ask...how do they know? Guess what....youre not the only person with them.

1) People know whats up with the peripherals. No need to make an entirely new thread to tell everyone your strumbar/bass pedal/drum pad broke. Most people dont care.

2) Online BWT may or may not be coming. Who knows? Harmonix. Not me. Not you. No need to make a new thread about it.

3) Ok, you dont like the DLC. Im sure someone else does. Maybe one day they will come out with a song that please EVERYONE IN THE WORLD!

4) Uh....of course equipment replacement is a little slow....its the Christmas holiday time. Dont be all smartass with me and tell me you have been waiting since 11/20. People know who I am talking to.

5) If you think the CS is so horrible.....use the website.

I completely agree. The voices of unsatisfied customers should not be heard on these boards, but they always have, and don't show signs of letting up anytime soon. I hate dealing with people who have something broken and don't take the time to send it f**king back. They think it would be more satisfactory to make a pointless topic.

I'm sure you're tired of reading peoples complaints, I had my bass pedal break recently too and it really pissed me off.
But i think that the reason people are starting so many threads about broken peripherals is to inform others that if you haven't already bought the game you may be paying damn near 200 bucks for an item that only functions for a couple of weeks.
I'd advise them all to send a letter to EA. or someone who has the power to do something.

Now where the eff is my bass pedal already its been over a week!

granted the people with problems have a right to complain, but this forum isn't the place, take it to the tech-support forum, or better yet, check the sticky's that have the link right to contacting support and skip complaining about it to everybody; but alas, we have to realize that forums are always going to be the place for those kind of posts, rock band's certainly isn't the only one that shows this pattern.

Actually, this forum is far more interesting than where I usually hang (GameFAQ's). That place is nothing but "This game needs ___ for dlc" or "___ is a terrible band" or "Emo is ___". And between those you just get "how duz i makes my mike wurk?" or "LP vs RB gutar" and other variations.

But really, it's gonna be like that anywhere, for any game. Only thing you can really do is ignore the topics that don't interest you and move on.

Here's an idea.. If you don't want to read the complaint threads, don't click them.:)

I know, it's hard to comprehend that your right index finger can control your destiny this way and spare all you the aggravation of reading things you don't want to read in the first place. But I assure you that it's true, and even you can learn now to not click on threads you don't want to read. If you can 5 star a song on easy, you should be able to work out how the mouse operates, so best of luck to you and remember not to click! ;)

Its the sifting through the threads that annoying genius. The new posts button returns 499 threads for me. Its already annoying that i cant figure out how to get the dumbass ultimate setlist forum off of there. Now I have to sort through tons of *****ing to find something worthwhile?

You must understand, this is a much better way of venting than, say, yelling at a close friend or family member from aggravation. Just don't bother making a thread to complain about complaints, it is a bit of a waste of time.

Honestly though, if people want to vent about the faulty crap they have received after paying 170 for a game I say let them. Who are you to tell them not to? my r2 guitar wont activate over drive and easy on the drums thats not easy you hafe to be keith moon or john bonham to play drums for rock band so if they could help a guy who has never been near a drum kit is there some way to get an easer easy
