Not really, all they do is put your video at the top of the search results. For things like covers, which rely heavily on copyrighted material, it's generally not a good idea to attract attention from "official" sources.

For original material, though, it would help more people get access to it, but then again, you have to weigh cost vs. benefits.

Ah i see. One of my videos got copyright claimed, but I just did a dispute claim or whatever it's called. I probably won't do it then, 2 of videos have roughly 90 views and the other like 50, which i guess isn't alot, but im fine with it.
