Xbox 360 mic not working?

Well, I was extremely surprised when I looked through the forum and found that nobody else had this same problem, but if you could please.... HELP!!

I can't talk through my Xbox 360 mic in Live mode for Rockband.
I finally got it to where I can hear people through my mic when I pushed down the adapter hard enough. (originally I could only hear through my TV)
I have tried both adapters, and I have the same problem with the drums AND guitar. (can only hear, no talk)
My 360 mic works for all my other games, accept for Rockband.
Please Help!

yes i am also having this same problem and same as all of my friends. both adapters dont work but i can use the mic online in other games, just not rockband...:mad:

:mad: itsucks i have the same problem and its frustrating on live cause the guys like can you hear me? or do u want this song??? and i dont reply so he leaves. ive pressed it in really hard and i hear static. i tried sending a message and i yelled into the mike and i heard a faint barley hearable yell. im surprised rock band people havent said anything yet cause this is the biggest probem amost rockers right now and its pissn me off!:mad:

fortunately i have a wireless mic for 360 and dont have this problem but shame its not working... HMX will probably do somethign about it
