Last night I saw Chevelle and Breaking Benjamin live. Here are my thoughts: Chevelle rocked! They were better than I expected them to be....they sound so much better live than on the radio and their cds plus the lead singers vocals are amazing. We need songs by them in ROCK BAND!
As for Breaking Benjamin they rocked as well and the band is very cool. They played all of the songs I wanted them to play except they didn't play Anthem Of The Angels but then again it's on their new album, and not released as a single yet. They played their song that's on the Halo 2 soundtrack and they had a video of Master Chief during the whole song which was cool. They played a song dedicated to our soldiers while a tribute video played in the background. Before they played the song, Ben said that they fight for our freedom to be at the concert and after the song a big USA Chant started. And then they played the song Dream On which was unexpected with a video tribute to late musicians such as Kurt Cobain, Keith Moon, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Michael Jackson. It was a nice touch. My only complaint was that after they played their last song Diary Of Jane, most of the crowd wanted an encore that they didn't come out for. I would have saved that as my encore song knowing that the crowd probably would want an encore. Overall for $45 for the ticket I got my money's worth.

Cool story, brah.
I don't really think our soldiers are fighting in the Middle East so we can see some totally rockin' concerts, but that's just me.

There coming to my town on the 16th, I love Chevelle not really a fan of Breaking Benjamin, but tickets for me were only 25$. Makes me really excited to go see them now.

I was hoping that you heard something about Chevelle DLC because this isn't in General. :(

There usually isn't an encore when there is more than one primary act. Neither Three Days Grace or Breaking Benjamin had an encore when I saw them a couple of weeks ago, plus they had Flyleaf open for them.

I thought BB was touring with Nickelback. Maybe not yet. Did they play I Will Not Bow?

Thanks for the review. Going to see the show tomorrow night in Utica, NY. Should be killer. I do, however hate General Admission, but that is just me.

You are talking about the Poughkeepsie show right? Because I went to that as well, such an awesome show! Red and Thousand Foot Krutch were also openers, making it a great line-up. Chevelle is my favorite band and I've been patiently waiting for some songs in Rock Bnad. Maybe for RB3?

Yes, BB is opening up with "I Will Not Bow" on this tour, as they did when playing with Three Days Grace.

I meant they are fighting for our freedom hence allowing us to be at the concert.

When I went to Projekt Revolution, Linkin Park was the main act and they came out for 2 encores! Plus when I saw Green Day they had an encore and The Bravery opened for them.

I'm so sorry you had to pay money to see that. That sounds absolutely awful.
