After going through some tunes in movie soundtracks I thought it would be cool to get a list together of the Top Ten tunes that set the mood for a particular scene in movies. Name the tune and describe the scene so people can remember the movie moment. I'll setup some nominees here...

Boogie Nights - Sister Christian (Night Ranger) / Jesse's Girl (Rick Springfield) - The house scene with the drug dealer was crazy. The tune set the mood for sure in that scene, and probably one of the best movie music moments of all time.

Wayne's World - Boheimem Rhaphsody (Queen) - Looking at a flame decaled pacer will never be the same.

Collateral - Shadow of The Sun (Audioslave) - Michael Mann did the right thing by employing Chris Cornell to set a final tune for both these movies. The tune sets the mood well.

Top Gun - Danger Zone (Kenny Loggins) - One my all time favorite tunes from when I was a kid. The music fit the movie action sequence in the beginning.

Miserlou at the Pulp Fiction opening credits. The association between that movie and that song has become permanently etched in the public consciousness.
