Looked down by some, but I'm no music snob. :p These bands would be fun to play. Anybody else agree, or am I in the vast minority?
My case for BTE: BTE would provide some fun bass that doesn't come from bands that are 30-40 years old. Frantic drumming on the harder songs would prove harder than you'd think. Kevin is an amazing vocalist with a wide range in the high notes.
BTE:
"Tremble" (Groovy bass notes, fun guitar solo)
"King of New Orleans" (Bridge has some of the best rock vox of the last decade)
"In the Blood" (Stellar song on all counts)
"Stall" (Fun, easy guitar parts)
"Long Lost" (Great for drums, vocals)
My case for CSoul: Wide library, recognized and generally appreciated by both classic rock fans and alternative rock fans. Ross Childress was one of the better guitar soloists of the '90s. Ed Roland's got a great voice.
CSoul:
"Precious Declaration" (Was a single, fun guitars, soothing chorus vox mixed amidst the rock)
"Heavy" (Fun drums, heavy guitars, great vox)
"Smashing Young Man" (Fun guitar solo that spikes the difficulty)
"Where the River Flows" (Hard alt rock at it's finest on all accounts, interesting vox)
"Boast" (Catchy, sweet guitars, great drum line, and of course fantastic vox)
It seems to me these bands, especially Collective Soul, were meant to be in this game. The licensing couldn't be too hard since CSoul has appeared in games before. Am I the only one that really wants some of these bands in Rock Band?
