Now I know that opening your guitar does NOT void the warranty. I read through the warranty twice. Nowhere does it say that opening your guitar voids the warranty. My strum bar quit strumming down half the time and I tried to open the guitar but I could NOT because the screws were in so tight. It did however strip the screws because the screwdriver wouldn't grip them and kept sliding. I wonder...will EA deny my getting a new guitar under the warranty because of the stripped screws? Would they ask about it? I am telling the honest truth. I did not modify the guitar contents in any way (it does say that damage THROUGH modification, meaning it got damaged when you modified it, voids it).
You guys' help would be greatly appreciated!

Bah, you're okay. If it wasn't opened, don't worry.
Heck, for all they know, it could have been a stripped screw from the factory ;)

Thanks for the reply! My problem is that half the screws look stripped though. Do you think that would cause suspicion?

No.
The first "generation" guitars were so damn shoddy in the first place that I don't think it matters if the screws were stripped or not. I am still stuck with a 1st gen that was broken out of the box, and am still waiting for a replacement.
And for future reference, next time if you feel the screws started to strip, use a larger screwdriver. People use screwdrivers that are too small because they think it 'fits right', but honestly you will want to take a bigger one to remove the screws. You'll save yourself a lot of headache :)
