every time i need to play rock band it comes up saying must install update v1.01 and when click install it just gets stock at some % and then i have to cancel it. I can play the game but not online

I have been trying to download Rock Band Update 1.01 for the PS3 since 12/25 via the title update prompt when the game begins with no success. Each time, the download progress advances to between 4% and 11% and then progress stops. After another minute or so, I get logged out of the Playstation Network with error 8002AD23. Another minute later I recieve "An error occured during the download operation. (80710723)".

I have no problems downloading content from the Playstation Store or downloading PS3 updates from the Playstation Network. I am even able to download Rock Band Add-On Content from the Playstation Store with no problems. I have even tried placing the PS3 in a DMZ to no avail. I am stymied.

Anyone out there have any thoughts on how to correct the issue?
