Wanna go to a place where you can find matches on the fly? Come on doooowwwwwn! The IRC channel, if we get a good amount of people, can be a great place to easily find people to play with, or people to play against...Or if you just wanna hang out and talk about Rock Band in general, that's cool too!
Get started?
1. Go to http://www.mibbit.com and click on "Launch Mibbit Webchat" on the bottom left. Alternatively, go to http://www.mibbit.com/chat .
2. This should bring up a green page with a Mibbit logo on the top-left. In the middle of the page there should be three boxes. You'll need to focus on the top box. That's what you'll use to log in.
3. In the drop-down box, the default should be "Mibbit [webirc]." This is not what you want. Click on the drop-down box, and scroll down until you see "GameSurge [webirc]." Select that,.
4. In the box labeled "Nick," Just type in your desired nickname, or username.
5. In the box labeled "Channel," Type in "#wiirockband" without the quotes. Be sure to include the number sign (#).
6. Click Go. Start talking and playing!

If you become a registered user on Mibbit, you can skip all these steps. Then, all you have to do is log in. It's free, it's easy (and by "easy" I mean easy like turning a door handle, which I know very many of you can do), and it makes life easier for everybody...who uses Mibbit.
For those of you with IRC clients, the server is irc.gamesurge.net; the channel is #wiirockband.
And for those of you with handlers, the link is irc://irc.gamesurge.net/wiirockband .
