Freezing

Why have i spent nearly over £500 on rock band when it doesn't even bloody work for more than 10 minutes without freezing?

Do you mean it freezes completely with no way out but a hard reset? Or the common lagging issue with PS3's? Check for scratches on the disc. This could also be an issue with the console. If you have a PS3 and are experiencing the minor hiccups that cause it to freeze for a split second, then you are S.O.L.

Sorry i should have been clearer but i was just very pissed off about it freezing on a regular basis. I'm using a 360 and it's the complete freeze issue with no option but hard reset. Similar thing with Lego Rock Band too.

try cleaning the disk. get new xbox. get new rock band disk

Yeah, it must be a problem with your system/game. Mine never freezes like that.

Yeah i've ruled it down to the game itself, all other games on my 360 work but for those 2. Even RB1 works perfectly fine lol.

OKAY. So i've now found out that none of the Rock Band titles that i own (RB1, RB2, LRB) work on my 360, yet every other game i own does. I'm thinking it's either the DLC maning i'll have to delete and redownload it all. The other option in the 360, but as i said, every other game but Rock Band is working.

Any suggestions?

When it freezes, does it give you a checkerboard-like/speck-ish screen?

If not, and you're saying it's the Rock Band games, I'd narrow it down to DLC.

It either just freezes, has dark brown scan-lines across the screen or just goes to a black screen.

I redownloaded every piece of my DLC and still nothing. So i'm guessing i'll have to get a new console. Thank god it was my birthday on the 1st.
