View Full Version : What the Hell is the 2nd Phase of my warranty request?

I bought this game the day it came out and rocked out with it until my drums and guitar decided to break a week later. I sent in a replacement request Nov. 28th and I choose the normal delivery one. A week and a half went by and I got my empty boxes. I sent both the guitar and the drum back. They both got there in 4 days because I tracked them.

Well time went by and finally on the 22nd I recieved two boxes. One contained a new guitar, while the other contained an empty drum box. I submitted my question through the EA support immediately and heard nothing. Finally after asking another question and 6 days later, I recieved a message today that said

"Thank you for contacting us here at Electronic Arts Technical Support. I am truly sorry for your situation and the inconvenience that this caused you.

The warranty request is still being processed by EA, your request in the 2nd phase.

Should you require further assistance about this or any Electronic Arts games in the future please visit our web site and review our extensive Self Help knowledge base (http://support.ea.com/)."

First off what the hell is the 2nd Phase?

Second, when am I getting my drums?

Lastly, It has been exactly a month since I first sent in my request for replacement parts. What the hell? It's not like i even live that far away from where they ship them. I live 8 hours away. If I had of known it would have been this ridiculous I would have drove my broken parts there myself! (sorry that's just me venting haha)

Heh, maybe everyone should take this as a queue to drive the parts there themselves. Might end up being faster!

Sorry to hear your plight, I feel for ya man. It's totally rediculous too.

Just remember to use this memory as a reminder when you go to purchase your next EA game and then put it back on the shelf and leave the store. Don't give EA another cent of your money until it's resolved, and even then, think back to this. The only way they'll figure it out is when it hurts their bottom line. And the only way that happens is when you don't buy their stuff.
