USB attachment for 360

What is the point of having a 2 inch USB attachment that goes on the to the end of the instruments? Why couldn't they just have made the instruments USB wires? I was hoping to take RB and show it around to friends but of course that little attachment fell off and now I am short one instrument. Is there some place I can buy that thing? I'm going to super glue the other attachment on now because that's just stupid that a 2 inch useless attachment is going to ruin my play time.

I imagine you mean the breakaway cable.
If it came off it should snap back on. If you broke/ lost it, if you have a wired 360 controller you could take the same piece off that. That, or go buy am "Extension Cord" for 360 controllers at EB games, if such a thing exsists.

LOL! It's the break away cable so if your mom/dog/friend in a wheelchair gets it caught on their foot while they are walking by to disconects there instead of damaging the USB part or even worse, pulling your 360 of wherever you keep it onto the floor. Just plug the damn thing back in and play. If it pops out on it's own then just tape it I guess.
