View Full Version : Calibration issues?

Curious - I own RB1, RB2, and TB:RB. For the life of me, the ONLY disc I have problems calibrating to is LRB.
No, I am not a "first time user", have been doing this for several months and play bass at expert level. In multiplayer mode, seems like the cal is always "just" off - even after a recal - for at least one instrument, which entirely sours the band experience - causing us to move along to another disc.
Seems we also had similar problems, though NOT as noticeable on RB1 and RB2, until we connected the system to the internet and started playing online/receiving updates. Problem still remains with LRB, however.
Anyone else have this experience?

Oddly, I have had the opposite experience, LRB is usually my most stably calibrated game, and I have the biggest issues in RB2. To be fair, I've been playing a lot more LRB lately than RB2, so I may just be used to the calibration quirks.

What system are you all using,...I have a wii and I can not calibrate RB1 properly. I'm not a first timer either, been playing drums for 20+ years and RB games for about a year and a half. I just bought LRB (still in plastic wrap) just to play thoses songs and I've heard that RB1 for wii will NOT calibrate properly by way of the kick drum is always off a bit. I have also read on these forums that TB RB has the best calibration,...cal with it and all RB games should synchronize. I don't have TB RB so I can't say if that is true or not.

Uisng PS3 myself. RB1, RB2, TB:RB, no issues at all. Lego - hate it because the timing is just lousy.

I played for the first time last night, LRB that is,,and yeah it took awhile to get it right..but I had to realize that I was rushing it...its real precise with the notes. I'm use to RB2. Once I figured out that these songs aren't as fast as other RB games it wasn't perfect,....but good enough to play and enjoy. not as frustrating. I stayed around 98 to 92%.
