Ok, I love playing Rock Band, and I have started playing Live a bit. I have the wired guitar, and I was wondering where in the world to plug my 360 headset into the guitar. I have searched every nook and cranny for places to plug the ****ing thing in. Am I not supposed to be able to talk when playing or what?

F.Y.I. I have the connector to use, but still no place for that to even plug in.

P.S. Also, as I was looking at the guitar, I saw a panel held in with a screw. I took the screw out, and I found 3 battery holders. WTF is this used for? Its a wired controller for crying out loud.

There's a tiny hole on the bottom of the guitar to the left of the strap knob. It's for the headset.

The battery panel is there just because they used the same guitar manufacturing format for the PS3 and the 360.

Look harder. There's only one hole in the guitar that you can plug a headphone jack into. And that battery holder is for the expansion that gives you a handie while playing.

Thank you, I seriously couldn't find it, and I had no clue as to why it was so hard to locate. (They should have made it a tiny bit more noticable.)

So, we got shafted? What Microsoft not play enough to get it or something?

Microsoft doesn't do wireless 3rd party controllers except in odd exceptions. Expect wireless Stracaster controllers Feb-March 2008.

In odd exceptions? More like they will allow anyone to make a wireless controller as long as the company pays Microsoft some money for the lisenced technology.

We have a winner!

You can't win. PS3 has limitations. Xbox is Microshaft.

The only reason they didn't have wireless strat is because then the bundles would cost more for the xbox then the ps3. thats not a good way to start your new franchise.. giving the 360 owners a higher price (neither is taking the ability to use gh3 controllers from the ps3 guys)

True it was because of the cost of the xbox tech. But STILL, i wouldve paid the price. Maybe they'll let you return your old fender for a new wireless one come feburary
