I personally am very happy with Rock Band's current track listing. You guys did a great job, it does however feel like there is something missing.
I think that something is My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Wolfmother (more than just The Joker and the Thief), AC/DC, more Weezer, more Foo Fighters, and last but not least more from The Killers.
I would personally love to see anything from these artists. Their music is awesome, and most of it would fit perfectly into Rock Band. Imagine, rocking out to Blink 182! I realize that MCR has 5 members (lead and rythm guitar, bass, drums, vocals) which might not work, but it is worth a shot.
I think that Wolfmother's Wolfmother LP would be perfect for this game. I own the CD and every song would be perfect!
AC/DC. They are one of the greatest classic rock bands of all time, yet, they have been left out of every rock based music game out there, like Led Zeppelin (which will probably never show up in a game, their music just got released on iTunes!).
And finally The Killers. I personally love to rock out to "When You Were Young", but they have more songs that would be even more fun and challenging than that.
I hope you take into consideration some of my suggestions.
