Loading Failed for an Unknown Reason (360)

I have searched the forums and have found some threads similar, but not exactly the same, as my issue (though I may have missed one, so if there is one just point me in the right direction...)

Here is my issue, brother-in-law has 360, been playing RB2 for a long time on his 360. Now I have my own.

Moved my saved game to MU, tried the following, still get error. (Some of these solutions were suggested in other threads and tried)

Starting off, just tried moving it to my HDD - nogo

Moved back to MU, load from MU - nogo

Placed back in original 360 to confirm not corrupted - worked fine

Moved to original 360, started game, saved to MU (basically created new copy of save), tried to load on my 360 from MU - nogo

Moved to my 360 - nogo

Moved from my 360 to MU and back to my 360 - nogo

Moved to MU, removed MU from system, made a save game on my 360, then moved from MU to repace - nogo

Created new save on my 360, loaded it, insert MU and attempt manual load from options - nogo

Anyone have a solution for this problem?



On a side note: My brother-in-law had DLC that I do not have, would me having a score on a song I don't have be the issue?

Another thought just occured to me, his 360 is not connected to the internet, and has not been in a while (he no longer has internet at his house) and mine is, could an update I received when loading the game up on my system, that he does not have, cause this problem?

What exactly isn't loading? Just your saved game? If so, the update you got shouldn't be the problem... if anything, that would make it work on your 360, but not work any more on his.

Could you tell us exactly what the error message says?

Did you have different gamer profiles when this happened?

Just my save, other items (such as video settings and such) load fine, and no, same profile/gamer tag.


As for what the error says... Title of the Thread.. Pretty much word for word.
