In LEGO Rock Band Story Mode, I cannot select any of my DLed and imported songs to use for my albums.
I used to do this before with my first album, all DLs.

which version? the wii doesnt work with dlc
There was a patch that disabled that feature. My first two LEGO albums have DLC, I ignorantly downloaded the patch, and now I'm stuck with disc only tracks on my albums. Pretty stupid patch if you ask me.

There was a patch that disabled that feature. Is that so?
In that case, I'll roll back and reset the albums, then go patch back. :p

I think the way it works is that if you made the album with DLC before the patch, you can still play it. However, you cannot create a new album with DLC.
I was able to get all 6 albums with all DLC before the patch was released, and I'm pretty sure I can still play them as they are.

That is correct.

I'm assuming this was intentional, as a way of trying to prevent gameplay problems that might come up if you take your save file to someone else's 360, and they don't have that DLC (or if you remove songs from your system). If an album challenge comes up, and the songs for it aren't there, it wouldn't work.
Sucks, yeah, but that's probably why...
I've posted this before, but that's exactly why I think it was stupid patch. I hate the idea of saving people from their own stupidity at the cost of ruining the game for everyone else. If someone is screwing around with their save file or deletes DLC they liked enough at the time to put on an album setlist, then they should know very well that they will have made those albums unplayable.
