PAL code not long enough

I have a new copy of RB2 region 2(PAL) and it only has a 12 digit code on the back of the book. To register the game and get my free dlc the registration page wants me to put in a 16 digit code. Has anyone else had this issue or know what to do?

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to just enter it in the store directly, I think it was changed to be that easy later. But if you're like me (on the ps3) you might get Track Pack 2 instead of the actual 20 free songs. Just thought I'd tell ya.
