hey folks, we started a band we let the 360 pick our name and do everything else so we could get playing, we been playing the heck out of it the last couple nites(on medium) got some decent #s now. my stupid question is do we have to be playing at a higher level to make the leaderboard our does it take time to post our band not even on it.

All BWT scores go to the leaderboards. Yours will go up eventually.

Just to be sure, you didn't get a message saying yours wouldn't go to the leaderboard, did you? If another band already exists with the same name as yours, you will not go to the leaderboard. Add or remove a band member on the roster and if you get that message, that's why it's not updating. If you don't get that message, you just need to wait a bit.

All it says at the bottom (on the game) unable to rank need to play more but our #s are better than the bands who are at the bottom of the leaderboard really does'nt matter i guess.I just was wondering I'm Dad the singer(only thing i could do...lol) meant a little more to me where we were at, not the boy's but anyway, Thank's again for your reply.

There aren't that many auto-generated names, so I'm pretty sure the one you're using has been taken. The safest bet would be to just change the name of your band to something unique. :)

To do this, start up your BWT with this band and select "Band Profile" from the BWT menu. Once here, the cursor is defaulted to the band name, so you just have to hit "A"/green fret/green drum and the "keyboard" will show up enabling you to change your band name.

Though your band name may not be taken in which your problem either lies with XBL (Xbox Live) or your XBL account. Do you have a gold XBL account? Your band won't join the leaderboards with just a silver account -- must have gold.
