i'd choose a different Darkest Hour song(doomsayer/fire in the sky/demon(s)) and a different he is legend song(cape fear/the pot bellied goddess/the seduction)

True I have not heard most of it.

Just looking over the songs I do know however (about half) I can see the genre. Which I happen to not like.

I wasn't trying to flame anyone, except for most of the bands on the list.

I mainly chose the Darkest Hour song as it's my favorite off their new cd and therefore the one I'm currently listening to the most. And the Trivium choice was based mainly on my favorite song by the band, as was He is Legend. I spent a long time debating on the Opeth song, I couldn't decide between Ghost of Perdition and Demon of the Fall, but in the end, I felt GOP was a more well rounded track.

As for the death metal and emo part...there's very very little of both on that list. Actually, if you want yo get really technical, there's no real emo on the list, there are bands who have emo influences to their music, but none of them are emo. Same with death metal, there's very few pure death metal songs I put on the list, most of the stuff is more melodic death metal, which is a completely different beast on it's own. For the record, I'm not saying you don't have the right to dislike, I'm just saying that I'd rather you dislike my list for the actual songs (hence the purpose of putting the links to the songs up) rather than their genre.

That's very true, like I said, I'm up for changing that one, that just happened to be what I've been listening to most off the new cd, and was actually listening to at the time I made the list.
