Had Rockband for two days and played perfect. All of a sudden on the guitar even if hitting right note it sounds as if your hitting a dead note and scores as if you had it nothing but yet note explodes like all was good. Second on the stretched notes will not hold. This problem occurs off and on through outt the song. Has anyone else had this problem. Sometimes it is so bad you get booed off even if every note is hit. I know the guitar controller is working because when you hit the fret it does light up on screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to go to EA's support page to get a new guitar. This is a problem that has occurred frequently in the first shipment of guitars, and it has been fixed. Until the new guitar arrives, you can try moving the strum bar in the opposite direction, which worked for me.

I just had the same problem. Not even a week of play and already the guitar has gone to total ****. The sticker on the bottom of the box says 8-Nov-07. I'm not up on my dates, but I didn't think that was one of the sets that would **** out on me. Can anyone give me some help here?

The strum bar is broken. The reason you aren't getting a combo is because when you down strum once, the guitar sometimes recognizes it as two, three, or even four times. The mechanism inside the guitar is weak and breaks after about 2 or 3 hours of play. It is an easy fix, but if you do it yourself, you void the warranty for that guitar. There is a fix it yourself thread somewhere in the forums if you wanted to take the route.
