Does anybody use this? When does it even have an affect? I've really only noticed a difference with wah-wah and flange but only during overdrive. I guess that's the only time it works. Any comments?

It works in overdrive and on solos. All of them have noticable differences then when it's off, but some songs are more noticable with certain effects.

It only works during overdrive and the blue solo/bass groove spots

Cool thanks... I'll just have to play around some more I guess... I just got it yesterday. I also noticed that there's some rattling sound in my guitar if I shake it sideways while I'm playing. Hopefully it's just a loose screw inside or something... I don't want it to break already.

Rattling is the ball bearing gravity tilt sensor used to activate overdrive, nothing wrong. The ball bearing model has proven to be more reliable than quieter alternative components.
I thought, but could easily be wrong, that there's something in the manual that mentions that the rattle is normal and not a sign of damage.

I'm really loving this switch. Playing the In Bloom solo with Echo, or Enter Sandman with Flanger. Good stuff.

I really enjoy the Wah-wah effect with Green Grass and High Tides. Some effects sound better in some songs than others. I don't notice a big difference with the Chorus effect though. It just sounds like the treble is turned up.
