Can Anyone Think Of A Reason Why...

Hey All,

Have a quick question. I am at my friends house and I brought my HDD with all of my Downloaded Content to his 360 and for some reason it will not load any of the songs that I have purchased online. Anyone have any ideas.

Here is what I have done.

1. Made sure to hit load in the options LOL!
2. Made sure that the DLC is not corrupt
3. Restarted and made sure my profile was selected before I entered the game.
4. And a few other little things

Right now I am not logged into xbox live (Because he has no internet yet) but I don't see why that is a problem as the DLC is on my HDD.

This is in fact your problem. You have to be logged into xbox live for the content to work on any console other than the one to which it was originally downloaded. Whether it's on a hard drive or memory card is irrelevant. You have to either be on the real XBox to which it was originally downloaded (not hard drive, the actual console), or logged on to XBox Live with the gamertag that did the downloading (in which case it will work from any XBox anywhere).

Don't blame Harmonix for this if it doesn't work out for you -- this is the way all Microsoft downloadable content works. It's how their DRM is set up.

there were a few threads in the past about this.. i think that if you are trying to load the DLC up on a friends xbox, you need to have Live on and be connected to it to access the DLC for some reason.. cant really remember for sure.. if you search on the forums though there should be some other threads with this issue and possibly some solutions
