Okay I made the youtube video found here:

I also made another discovery last night pertaining to the metal contact design.

Yesterday, my guitar started making a cracking sound when on the upstrum, sounded like it was getting hung up on something. Opened it up and figured out why some people break the first run metal contacts that work so good after the ol' at home fix.
Take the guitar apart, Look at the white strummer. Let it rest in the middle, then slowly strum up and down LOOK CLOSE. The strummer itself where it makes contact with the metal contact is SQUARED OFF NOT ROUNDED ON THE BOTTOM. THIS IS WHY THIS DESIGN WILL CATCH AND SNAP THE METAL CONTACT. If you strum all the way one direction, the bottom of the strummer will rise above the opposite contact potentially setting up to grab the pad and bend down the moving contact causing it to bend, then break. If you have a metal contact strummer I HIGHLY RECOMMEND fixing this issue IMMEDIATELY before you're playing, don't notice the problem then BANG you're contact breaks and you're screwed. By the way, with these strummers, they are virtually silent, if you hear ANY clicking, you have a problem going on in there and better fix it quick. The fix takes about 10 minutes.

THE FIX:

I did this to mine and it works perfect. Use a small file(nail file, metal file, something very thin).
Press the strummer in one direction and hold it all the way down or up. Using your file, slip between the moveable metal contact and the white piece of the strummer and gently round off the bottom of the white plastic strummer. Just take off enough to make it from a sharp corner to a gentle bend and you're done. You will know exactly what I mean when you look at it. Its another defect design which is incredibly easy to fix. Good luck and keep Jammin' :P
