PS3 - Trying to join PS3 GH Guitar as Second Axe

Hey now,

I tried to join the Slash axe from GH3 for PS3 as my second guitar in RB and it shows up as a Microphone...It will not go into the second guitar controller, but it will control the mic contoller...It shows up as user 3 as mic and User 4 as mic as well. But user 4 is the slash axe from GH3.

ANybody have any thoughts or experience with this issue? It would really suck if I could not use my GH3 axe as a second in RB....That would be a very low $$$ grab IMHO....

I just read that this can not be done....Which seems like a $$$ grab, but if the electronics is different then, it is what it is...

So now my next question???

How are people pulling of a second guitar locally???

At the moment, the only option is another PS3 RB guitar.
