Hey fans and developers alike -
My drum set takes sometimes 10 minutes to register when plugged in to either the hub or directly into the 360, and only after unplugging/plugging the USB several times. The 360 button on the drum set with rotate the green lights continuously until it finally recognizes it.
Is there something I can do to fix this, or is it a hardware issue?
Thanks.

I think i have an idea. Go up to the xbox360 console with the drum set next to you and click the button on the xbox360 on the right of the memory stick holes. (Has this little icon like this : ))) (Three curves lines) Click that and the circular flashing button thing at the same time, then after a while it might connect.

That button is only for connecting new wireless devices. Anything plugged in should sign into the console immediately.
OP, sounds like your drums need to be replaced.

Yeah, kinda figured that. Thanks. Was hoping I was overseeing something.
How long, on average does it take replacements to come?

i recently sent in for new drums and here's my experience. put in request on the evening of the 14th (friday after business hours). received shipment on 18th. pretty fast. i was impressed. until i opened it. unfortunately, they accidentally sent an empty box (although i requested express). called that evening and they apologized and said they'd get a set straight out to me. it took 6 days before this set even shipped. once it did ship, however, it only took 2 days to arrive.
so the addendum request was put in on the evening of the 18th and they arrived on the 26th. for what it's worth, the new set works far better than the previous 2 (so far, that is). i'm extremely happy to finally have a drum set that i can play without constantly being aggravated by the hits not registering.
with the first 2 sets, i could only get 5 stars on one song on medium. with the new set i started back at the beginning on medium and have been 5-starring every song i've done so far. most of those were only 3-stars with the old set.
