Rammstein would be a great addition, would be challenging for the vocalist :), but would be so kick ass to play my favorite band.
I love their work, I personally love their older albums for that old fashion rammstein :)
Harmonix, I would worship you for ever if you added even one song from this list lol :)
Some great songs to add could be, but not limited to :
Laichzeit
Rammstein
Asche Zu Asche
Feuer frei!
Links 2 3 4
Du Hast
Reise, Reise
Los
Morgenstern

They sing in German, which pretty much rules them out, thank christ.

Rammstein I don't mind listening to...
For this game, they'll never even be available as DLC because they don't sing in English.

oh who cares, they play really good. I'm sure someone could learn to sing the song. I mean my god, I know almost every song by heart.
:( they shouldn't rule them out though, they kick ass.

Yes, but joe public doesn' WANT to study the song to begin singing it... unlike songs they don't know normally, they can't just look at the lyrics as they scroll, instead hey have to outright study the pronounciation to get a score.
That's when it'd stop being fun for people, and become a chore, and the majority of users would likely riot, lol.
It's a long shot, but mebbe argue for DLC?

Well, not everyone has a damn singer at their house with them all the time. could be a great solo / guitar, drum, bass song. and if the singer is able to pull off some german words then hurray for them :D.
Overall, their music kicks ass....I mean GHII has songs with any lyrics (thunderhorse).

They should have them in DLC. They'd be fun music to play instrumentally, and I'm sure a big fan/german speaker could sing the lyrics. Or just have the lyrics being auto sung and people play instruments.

i'd love to have rammstein, but they would need to have a song with a guitar solo. i was thinking links 2 3 4 or weisses fleisch

give me a break people rammstein is barely german. Du hast is pretty f'n easy to sing as well.
Besides I don't know the lyrics ot half the songs in this game. What's the difference as long as the lyrics are phonetic.

The fact is, the MAJORITY would not wish to try singing in German, seriously, put your own "personal" favourites on the back burner and think of the wider picture... they need to make money, Rammstein wouldn't do that, as it would prevent a lot of people buying it if it's NEEDED to complete the game in Singing, I know that I want to do all 4 parts for every song (Whether I do them in career, or if it's not allowed in career (i.e. possibly the bass), then in quick play style).
As such, I also know I would begin thinking twice if, to complete the singing on the game in career I'd have to study a damned song to hear how the lyrics sound.
As DLC, yes, go for it, stick it in, then it's perfectly acceptable.
As a MAIN track listing song... no way in hell should it be in there.

I speak german (well, it's my native language) but god no, I don't want that band in the game. (There are a lot of better german bands out there)

OOMPH! is a good german band...however they could put an English version of one of Rammstein's songs in the game. Not sure it would sound great though.

Well, that's not the music I listen to.
I may suggest Wir sind Helden. (Guten Tag (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPmBjwjVYz0) and Echolot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtDjA9KJkGo) are two outstanding songs) - and if you think Echolot is a slow song, wait until minute 1:22, or listen to the end of the song.
Well, but those songs won't be in the game. :(
But maybe a country specific DLC?

Rammstein is still a really great band, I'm not sure you can call them "hardly" german, but okay lol.
I personally love their older work more so then the newer work, because it has that old metal feeling to it.
Popularity wise, Rammstein would be the best choice for a different language song.

rammstein rocks. rein raus, morgenstern, or rosenrot would be awsome, but people would have to learn german, but thats not thaat hard... :)

Make them DLC, or use one of their few songs where they changed the lyrics to English. Also, the song choice would be important because a lot of their songs can get pretty damn repetative.

Te Quero Puta! Would be to hard to sing if you didn't know it, but it would be fun because it's a good song. Also, while it would be cool I think most people just couldn't sing in German. Some logical choices would be the english versions of Du Hast, Engel, or Amerika...The Amerika English version I believe has a special solo by Richard so I think that would work. Obviously I think Stripped would be the best choice, it covers all the bases and it's in English, but the guitar isn't very difficult.
Rammstein is my absolute favorite band of all time, but I doubt they will be included in Rock Band. GHIII would be a better choice for Rammstein.

Stripped is a cover so I don't think they'd do that either.
