Best setlist I've seen yet. There are only two songs that you added(I Predict a Riot & Pure Morning) that I really dislike, but having Gang of Four, Husker Du, Sonic Youth, The Pixies & Immigrant Song more than makes up for those.

Change revelations to original fire and id say thats a rock solid play list

Not that bad! Really not that bad!!
I love that you have added PLACEBO!! One of my favourite bands! But I think Pure Morning is not a good choice for Rockband since it's mostly a repeating riff, which is actually a sound that was created accidently in the studio and yeah, the computer repeats it all the time, so it's not really good to play.
I would say, better "This Picture".

Best setlist on here. Loving it. HARMONIX USE IT! :D Good to see some BritPop in there

Tell ya I loved your 70's block.
Damn, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and The Clash MUST BE in the game!
Even though I'd go for Rock and Roll to choose a Led song, because I think Immigrant Song's pretty repetitive. It rocks, but it's repetitive to play, what makes it kind of easy. Rock and Roll would be a better challenge.

Songs like Pure Morning, I Predict A Riot, and Immigrant Song were included because I think they'd be fun vocal tracks to help balance out other, more instrumental tracks.

07-23-2007, 02:54 PM
Do you have a playlist of your own or do you just play tough guy with everyone else's?
I'll change things when I get good suggestions. Quietsquirrel suggested a change and I agreed and made that change.
Make some suggestions, that's is what the forum is about, not being some sort of internet tough guy.
P.S. If your suggestions get anywhere near the kind of crap I have a feeling you listen to, you can save it for someone who cares.

my playlist is back some 50 some pages. if you feel like looking for it go ahead, but i'm not digging it up. my suggestions:
change Alive to Black
change Immigrant Song to Black Dog or Rock & Roll(immigrant song is too overly repetitive)
change Highway To Hell to Thunderstruck
your 2000's choices have no variety. you need something like protest the hero, the fall of troy. maybe even godsmack or he is legend.
edit: also, my personal preference for smashing pumpkins is Geek USA, but your pick is my second choice.

I have searched around a bit, forgive me, I didn't search that hard, but have failed to find an album mentioned that should be on the top of the list. One of the best constructed albums in recent history is Blood Sugar Sex Magik, by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was well known and has a wide variety of guitar/bass/drum tracks.
What I find amusing on these forums is when people recommend bands that no-one has heard of. Harmonix would want to try and get songs that can appeal to the wider community, and when someone says "The MUST add 'Toaster Monkey Spanker' to the set list" it make me laugh.....
Thought and opinions?

maybe because alot of the popular bands suck

I was going for balance between instruments with these, Black is too vocal heavy, and Thunderstruck is to quitar heavy. But I am going to change Immigrant Song.
Rev0lver

well, in my opinion, black has a kick ass bassline, and the guitar is pretty good. drums might be the only downfall.
and i just think you should change highway to hell because that song is boring+repetitive until the solo.

Bit personal innit just my opinion that the 80s sucked for music and fashion. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, so next time try to keep the personal remarks down will ya we're just debating a game, not whether we're "travesties of the 80s"...

I'd agree that your 2000s songs suck if you hadn't put Priestess on there, but me saying your songs are bad are obviously not in the spirit of this forum section, the point is for you to put what would be good in your opinion. So I'll just say, good call on the Priestess, though I'd have picked a diff. song.

I'm aware of that, what's your point? In fact, despite that it's from July, you still read it when a new post showed so obviously what I said hasn't fallen on deaf ears. Go hang yourself.

Tracks i like: (well, the ones that arent in the game already)
Iron Maiden-Run To The Hills
Guns N' Roses-Paradise City
Pearl Jam-Alive
Smashing Pumpkins-Bullet With Butterfly Wings
Placebo-Pure Morning (not my first choice Placebo song, but still good)
Audioslave-Original Fire
Avenged Sevenfold-Bat Country
Editors-Munich (im a massive Editors fan)
The Raconteurs-Steady As She Goes (i still prefer Broken Boy Solider, but this is good)
As much as you've been a bit of an ******* to other people setlists, this is a solid setlist with something for everyone in and i reckon the RB setlist will have alot of songs in it which are of this setlist maybe with a tad of DLC
