Does the Singstar (PS3) mics work with RB (PS3)

I believe any USB mic works with the game.....when I rented this game when it first came out and was not able to use my GH3 guitar I had to resort to vocals and used a logitech usb mic that came with the Kareoke Revolution game and it worked fine.

Okay, this is weird -- my Karaoke Revolution USB headset mike does NOT work with Rock Band. Neither does the logitech USB headset I have on my PC.

What headsets DO work with the game? I'm eager to get my Solo BWT action going and haven't found anything other than the official mike that my 360 will recognize...

This begs the question... Since the Singstar mics are technically joint stereo... Can you connect the two mics through one USB slot and have two people sing? They'd have to harmonize amazingly well for the game to pick them up correctly, but it could be an added challenge too--or fun for people playing on Easy.

Try a 360 headset, just make sure you plug it into a controller and not into a guitar/drums.

Just about any USB mic should work on PS3, I use the PSeye USB camera personally. Make sure you set the audio device to be the mic in the XMB before you go into the game if you've been using a headset for voice chat in other games.

Singstar mics work through the blue port. I tested this myself. ALL USB MICS WORK. If you can't get it to work, you must have an extra mic plugged in or broke it.

Wrong and wrong. I've tried my KR USB headset with and without the USB hub, I've done it with no XBL headsets attached, and I've tested it on my PS2 to ensure it's working fine. RB still won't recognize it. Same goes for my Logitech PC USB headset.

And "use the XBL headset" is not a solution -- the lousy audio fidelity and wireless lag really hit my vocal scores pretty badly.

That's strange because I've been using the KR mic (From American Idol) for a month now.

I have been using the PS2 KR American Idol Mic with the XBOX360 version of Rock Band. I also have the PS2 Singstar Mic's and they didn't work with the Rock Band on the 360.
