I have every trophy execpt this!!! I'm wondering if you have to play the rest of the song to do this or can you play it 100% speed in practice. Also any tips? I usually play drums, so I can only get 75%...

Practice Mode may help to, well, practice the song, but you won't get the achievement for doing it there.

Thanks, the trophy description didn't specify and I was just hoping.

FINALLY DID IT T.T.

Here's some tips:

-I'm not a great plastictar player: I couldn't ever be able to play that solo normally. I used, instead, the "solo buttons" of the RB1 Strat. I used to be a kinda good Stepmania/O2Jam player and playing like that reminds a lot of those games.
-Start from 50% speed in practice mode, learn how you should do those strange triplets: when you're able to get a 100% on the solo, go on 60% and further on.
-Remember that the solo requires you to have a great ability on THREE fingers. Don't be mad and try to do the first part of the solo (0-36%) with five fingers, just move your fingers that you used to do the Green-Yellow-Blue triplets to do the Red-Blue-Orange and then Yellow-Blue-Orange. Get used to that movement, because you'll find it extremely useful also for the Green-Red-Yellow part right after 36%.
-When you reach a 97%-99% rate on the solo, go on free play and try the song. Stay calm, relax and you'll manage to get it.
-If you find some problems in reading the note, do not forget you have Breakneck speed. Also, if you play with two instrument lanes, yours will move slightly faster. That's how I've done it. In only one try (after nearly four days of practice, however) with two lanes I got my trophy :3.

-If you didn't understand what I wrote (my english is not that great to create a comprehensible tutorial, I think), I might do a video showing my hands, so you can understand those already said movements that really helps you :p

I was amazed at reading this comment, so you're fine.

I long ago I gave this up as not going to happen. Maybe if I worked and worked at it, but I generally would rather be playing songs than practicing part of one over and over and over again.

That said, I've been playing Bass so much lately, I've gotten worse at this song somehow. I'll get it back again soon enough (almost done touching every song I own on bass).

You don't have to FC the song, but you can't do it in practice mode. It has to be done in either Story or Quickplay mode. But like I said, you don't have to do well on anything outside of the solo, just the solo itself. (but if you can get 100% on the solo there's no reason to miss anything outside of it ;))

I can't understand if you're being sarcastic, I think I'll choose to believe that you're a good guy who wanted to praise my english :D

Yes, very much. If you had never mentioned it, I would have assumed it was your first language.
