Wellity Wellity Wellity this has probably came up in a thread before...and I'm not sure I'm posting it in the right topic but still!
As far as Xbox 360 owners go, I am poor. I do not want to dish out £100 for a complete package, when I probably won't even use the mic...so unless there's a really small difference in price, I say they should release several packages so you could choose which instruments to buy. Yes, it would be a lot of hassle for the packaging-people, but am I a packaging person? No.

They're marketing all peripherals on gamestop and such as different prices right now, so i think its safe to say you wont have to buy them all.

:) woo...do you know if the rock band guitar will work for Guitar Hero 3 on 360, now that Harmonix don't work on GH? that'll be all my problems sorted then...

just but the game for $60 and use your 360 guitar, that's what i'm doing. (unless the new Strat improves and is $60)

It is up to the guys making GH III to allow the Rock Band guitar to work for it or not, and I don't believe anything has been said about it or confirmed as of yet. On the other hand Rock Band will support all 3rd party guitars, including the one for Guitar Hero III.

just a question...
if you already have a gh controller, and don't care for singing/drums, can you buy just the game itself?

Yes you can. It will play with any controller, its just you will be missing out on those nice 5 extra fret buttons for solos, but if you don't care about that, by all means do that, it will certainly save you some money.

Yup. The usual game price.

I don't even know. I never knew there was such a bundle. I'd guess $100.

well GH2 was $100, so probably the same. Maybe $110 if the guitar is wireless.

There's actually been no mention of a 2-pack bundle, just the rumored bundle of all 3 peripherals and game. But it's a great idea!
But Hmx has said time and time again, they don't want people to think that they have to run out and buy all the peripherals. They said you can just buy the guitar, or the drums, or whatever.
They really should have 2-pack bundles though. Guitar + game, drumset + game, mic + game. And then the overall bundle. I kinda doubt there will be many people buying the game alone by itself. But I suppose there will be a select number of people using the xplorer guitar I guess.

Generally combo deals are not a straight addition of prices..
Heck, look at the cost of GH2 on the PS2, $50 for the game and $40 for the wired SG; buy their powers combined: $80
And yes, I did just make a truely awful pun/reference to "Captain Planet"... it's been a long day at work.

heres a tip... if u only have a ps2 GH controller go to radio shack and buy a ps2 to computer adapter since 360 and pc are both using usb ports u will be able to save like $30 that way.
