Guiter overdrive activates with guitar level

I find that overdrive goes off as soon as available unless I am pointing my guitar down. If the floor is at 0 degrees, level is 90 degrees, and straight up is 180 degrees, then I must point the guitar at about 70 degrees to not have overdrive auto activate. Is this how the guitar is supposed to work?

This is my third guitar, and the first one also had this problem. It is very annoying when trying to save overdrive in case someone dies. A friend who also has the game has the same problem.

Many guitars have this problem.

Its a misaligned tilt sensor.

You can either go the RMA route and roll the dice on another guitar or try to fix it yourself.

Somewhere in these forums is a straight forward step-by-step (with pictures).

Looked pretty easy but I haven't tried it.

leave the guitar standing upside down for a day and it should fix this. it worked with mine
