I'm sure most people on here will disagree, but I would love to be able to play some of that wonderful softer stuff. Such as:

Gin Blossoms
Third Eye Blind
Matchbox Twenty
Wide Mouth Mason
Our Lady Peace
Collective Soul
Better Than Ezra

It's not like most of these songs would be overly complex in every department, but each one would bring something to the table if you're into this style of rock.

no matter how good the song sounds, it would be boring as hell.

yeah itd be kinda boring. I mean, you go from palying Dee Purple to Matchbox Twenty?

Although some bands there have songs with tempos that wouldnt be half bad.

A lot of the bands up there have songs with a good tempo to them. I would much rather play any song by any band up there than play Deep Purple, or 99% of the classic rock out there. It's obviously just personal taste, but I just can't handle the classic rock/generic metal stuff. I would love it if they threw in some nasty goregrind or something, but that's obviously not going to happen :P

I like Matchbox Twenty, OLP, and Collective Soul. Yeah that would be fun to mix it up a little.

Are you just looking for an excuse to get pissy? I didn't name anyone. I'm just saying that instead of filling the game with metal(generic or not) and classic rock it would be nice to see something a little different. My liking grind has nothing to do with anything, you're obviously just being immature because I apparently attacked something you like by not actually naming any bands.
