Flea:Complete a song with 100% notes hit on bass
Jimi Hendrix:Complete a song with 100% notes hit on guitar
John Bonhan:Complete a song with 100% notes hit on drums
Whitney Houston:Complete a song with 100% notes hit on vocals

The awards in their own are pretty good, the wording....
I would change Travis Barker award and Da Bass (makes it look like you don't know of any bassists) award before you get flamed...

No creativity. Kinda disappointing.
In a game like Rock Band there is so much room for really awesome achievements.

GDI, that sounds like a hard achievement but it won't know if you've played'em both.
Getting an achievement for paying for two or one consoles O-U-C-H-!

The trick would be to get the Achievement to show up on Live and Home without Sony or Microsoft knowing about it.

Loyalist - Play for one band for a year.
Rolling Stone - Join 5 bands, leave, and join 5 other bands.
Rock the Venue - Everyone Maxes out at all 40 venues.
11 - Beat every song, and album, at 100% for the whole band, at every venue on expert with the same full band after a full year of downloads. Good luck.

Dude. No to all those achievements.
YES!
An easy achievement is no achievement! Sorry I like an achievement to make my fingers bleed.
I honestly like 11 though. It's that coveted one that everybody wants. There's always one. Like Kick the Bucket in GHII. It's like THE ONE. Especially with online games. After a year I could see Harmonix slipping some insane Achievement in an update.
Easy achievements give me no reason to view Gamercards or even care.

I have the PS2 version, and let me tell you, it took me like 3 hours of straight playing before I could pass Jordan on expert. By the time I accomplished it, my hands were hurting so bad that it took an enourmous amount of effort to uncap my camera and even take a picture (my hands were shaking so badly). Really wish I had a gamerscore to prove it, but alas...
Yeah, easy achievements are not achievements.

Easy achievements may not be fun, but ill bet they put a bunch of lame easy achievements anyways... like in GH2 the "fail a song" achievement completely pointless or "refuse to play an encore"

Now let me recap:
11 would be the Achievement the press would be watching to see which band pulls it off first. EMAN SUBMIT TO THE PWNGE!

Here's one for you....
The Napster 50G - Successfully copy "Enter Sandman" note for note on every instrument while "sharing" your experience in a band online.
That would require online play, good people all around and a satisfying achievement that is tounge-in-cheek too. ;) That's creativity!

Very nice!!! I really like Fear the Reaper and Find Better Company (or you could go with the band tie-in and call it Bad Company) :)

Bad Company does sound better.
Any more ideas? This is wicked fun.

I don't think achievements should be limited to certain instruments not everyone plans on buying all 3.

By making ALL Achievements focused on ALL instrumens you're increasing the limitations for any real creativity.

Bad Hair Day - Two band members fail a song from the 80's, and you couldn't bail them out.
Slayer - Five "point" star all songs on hard (going for the pentagram/band feel and not sure how the ratings work in RB just yet...)
Livin' on a Prayer - Successfully bail 2 different members from a song and live to rock another day.
Wild Side - Hit every note while playing the drums on any song.
Way Cool Jr. - Complete the game on easy mode.
Journey - Complete the game with every instrument on medium mode.
Slip of the Tounge - Forget the lyrics and fail a song on easy mode.
Rebel Yell - Hit every note in a single song on Medium.
Master of Puppets - Win 10 songs in a row in battle mode as the lead singer of your band.
Tool - Leave a band after playing only 1 song.
Groupie - Rock with your band 100 times.
Powerslave - Successfully hit every power up in any song (I know it's Star Power in GH, but what is it in RB?)
These could be "special day" achievements worth zero points. It's more for bragging rights and something a bit different than what we see now. Yes, these are corny. :D
Smashing Pumpkins - Play Rock Band on Halloween.
Taking Back Sunday - Play Rock Band on every Sunday for one month.
Oh, You Too? - Play Rock Band on New Year's Day.
I'll be thinking up more. This is what just came to me now. :D

Same could be said for games with online play as not everyone has Xbox Live. Just a thought.
Achievements, to me, aren't meant to be easy to get. They should have a few "starters" and some that require skill (and patience!) to get. The whole point of Rock Band is, well, a band! They should include achievements for both online and all instruments. So, you may not get 1000/1000 if you don't want to play everything, or have online play. That's not the end of the world. If you REALLY want them, you'll pony up, beg, borrow or steal to get them. This type of game eliminates those boosters which I despise.

Flower Power - Lead the band in excessive showboating.
We Will Rock You - Each member defeats 25 players in vs. on expert.
We Are the Champions - Each member defeats 100 in vs. on expert.
Special achievements:
Mark of the Beast: Rank #666 in overall career score leaderboards.

Good one on the 666!!! That's one that's somewhat viral, and you never know when it will happen. I like those!
Speaking of viral achievements....
Seek and Destroy - Play against one of the Harmonix developers, or play against someone else who has and win.

I won't argue with you there my man! $50 for a year? Super cheap. And sometimes when renewal comes around, they have some decent bundles you could take advantage of, especially if someone steps on your headset... :D

Whitney Houston:Complete a song with 100% notes hit on vocals
Whitney Houston?!? What the **** are you thinking!?!
Change that to Dio immediately!

I go along with the idea of creating achievements for each of the disciplines (vocals, guitar, drums), since it would encourage players to attempt all facets of the game. Doing all on medium difficulty works well, and anyone who could do the same on hard would deserve some major props (maybe call it Power Trio?). Expert I think would just be unreasonable. :D
Some solid ideas here, keep the thoughts coming!

Not everyone has a credit card. I've wanted LIVE since I've had my 360 but I can't get it because I don't have a small piece of plastic.
