Emo is not what she is. Some people take it way too far to heart. Emo is a music and style, not a way to life

Emo is a mind set. Emo Rock is music.
Like psychadelic, goth, or punk. The music is a derivitive (sp) of some aspect of life like any liable genre of music.
Emo is in me but I balance it with logic. And nu-goth, a lifestyle, is just life. I dunno maybe I'm thinking too much into it. That's me.

The only point that girl has is that people shouldnt discriminate based on style and music, but that cant be helped... unfortunately the vast majority of people are dumb and dislike anything that doesnt conform to that person (a person is smart, but people are dumb, panicky creatures -Tommy Lee Jones) :( according to what people say im a "nerd, punk, emo, stoner, and rocker" kinda guy... thats funny cause to me im "normal" (funnier cause ive never done drugs lol) but im called that cause of what i listen to... kinda lame i wish that just call me by my frickin name instead of "hey, you, emo kid" or "hey, rocker dude" or "you frickin' nerd" just let these emo kids whine it out of their system or let themselves fall under natural selection <cough> cutters <cough> she (and I highly recommend everyone) should watch SLC Punk! very enlightening movie...
plus, did anyone notice the valley on her jaw? (lol)

I'm an insane black, nu-goth, with morals and artistic eyes.
I have too many categories people jam me in to mention.
But I remember being slammed for being black and a guy in a wanna ghetto town. Returds.

Emo was something that started a few years ago, and what people label as 'Emo' now really isnt Emo at all.
Its like the term Rock, it seemed that after a while, any band that picked up an electric guitar got lumped in to the 'rock' bin.
Its the same now with Emo, a band comes along and people listen to their music and if its deemed to be a bit downbeat or depressing then its in the Emo bin.
Pidgeon holes never really work for music I am afraid.

Pidgeon holes never really work for music I am afraid as most bands are influenced by what they listened to previously, and their own music is a mix of this. If you are influenced by bands from more than one genre of music then how can you pidgeon hole the resultant mix?

That girl was nuts, I only got to watch 3 minutes this morning before work... but it was hilariously funny watching her essentially flip over something so trivial.
I mean really... nobody would "hate emo's" if the ones who were like her... just stopped whining about every tiny thing... In general... I have no problem with anyone... but the second you start being a nuisance, I have a problem, be you an emo kid who whines about crap (and you can be an emo kid until 60 if you so wish... you're still acting like a child, lol), be you a chav who thinks it's "fun" to trash something purely because "It's not mine, hur hur", or just some idiot who feels that they're "above" someone else...
Hell I work in a charty shop, the amount of people who walk by and I hear them going "I dare you to go in"... yeah, we have a disease... it's called brains... we all know we can pick up a bargain in here, while you go to HMV, look at the back catalogue for your Take That album, only to find dear old Mummy has been in our shop and bought it, yet you send HER back to return the thing, because "mine has the HMV label on it! And I'm NOT having one from a charity store!", it's not happened, but it's the way they react... I swear, if the parents that come in told their kids that the new "beautiful" top that they picked up for the daughter came from a charity shop... it'd change from "Oh my god! That's so cute! It's so me! I've just got to wear it out tonight!" to "How could you buy me something from there? I'm never wearing it, take it back!"

Wow... thats pretty sad... I actually find that you get some of the best stuff from discount and charity stores. But I know what ya mean how people flip out where stuff comes from, pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, it's annoying actually, because I just hear it and think about how this seems to be what society (at least where I am) is degenerating to... people are *****ing left, right and centre about "all the immigrants coming over", however I've found (especially lately) they're the most respectable and caring people we get in the store, most of our customers are now from other countries.
The UK population only come into our shop if they're either over 50, or are in need of furniture.

I have a big feeling...that she's not emo. I have a feeling she's wearing a wig and all that is a costume. The place looks like a set for a TV show.
