I received my 2nd replacement guitar today. While my 1st replacement guitar was one of the new magnetic ones, it did not feel it was accurate as it should have been so I put in an RMA for a new one. I ordered it about 10pm last thursday night and it arrived today. Not bad considering the holiday in there.

First off, the box was not empty and it was not a refurbed guitar. So, I began to check it out and the first hing I noticed was that the strum bar was MUCH firmer than my 1st replacement. The whammy bar was solid as well as the fret buttons and other control buttons. Did not hear any loose parts or rattling when moved around. I plugged it in and played the songs with the continuous streams of notes I could never get higher than 3 or 4 stars on medium such as Suffragete City or Paranoid. I five starred them without any trouble at all!!! The overdrive sensor worked like a champ and activated when I wanted it to. I am VERY happy with this replacement!! I know now that when I miss a note, it's me and not faulty hardware.

The markings on the guitar itself matched my old guitar as far as part numbers and such except for the little green stickers with the "P" numbers that denote what wireless adaptor it is set up for. On the box it came in it had an orange round sticker with a large green round sticker next to it that read "PS2 Compatible". I guess this is if you want to use the guitar on the PS2 version of Rock Band along with a PS2 adaptor. It has a white rectangular sticker that read "33507CT" and stamped on the box was....

PS3
ROCK BAND GUITAR(822151)

So, those are the only idenifying marks I could find and I did not open the guitar up to see what the insides looked like (did not want to look a gift horse in the mouth). This new guitar ROCKS!!!
