Let me make this clear, I do not hit the drum pads hard.
Now that i have that down, i want to say this.
I have had rock band since launch, and my drums never gave out on me, and everything is working fine.
But today, i was playing ...And Justice For All, and after i was done, i noticed that my blue pad had a small indention in it.
The pad still works perfectly fine, but it concerns me, because it could potentially turn into a hole in my pad.
Has anyone else had a sinkage problem on any of there pads?
Should i send it to HMX?
All my other pads are fine, it is just that little indention in the center of the pad.

No sinkage but my red pad has an air bubble.

Sounds like it's starting to crack. The exact same thing happened with both my blue pad and yellow pad.

you might want to look into some drum mods which can be found in the forums and also u can check online on ebay thats where i got mine. Its not as loud when you play you can actually hit harder and you dont destroy the actual drum heads and has a great rebound so if you have actually played drums before it kind of feels like the rebound off the snare and tums makes for easy rolling. You can do it yourself or if your always busy like me then i would just buy them.
go to ebay
search rock band drum pads
i have the fully black ones that dont show the the colors beside if you are thinking about protection for your drum heads you prolly know the colors lol and the all black looks nice like actual electric drum set.
