Ok, so some of us have been having problems with our guitars and EA has been doing a great just job (at least for me) in getting them out to us in a timely fashion. No complaints there [from me].

I just received my second replacement. 1st one was for the strum bar, second one because on the replacement the Overdrive didn't. So I called again. And I get sent another guitar.

Now, here's my problem. I bought this game new (the bundle). I'm an adult, and I take extremely good care of my hardware. When EA sent me their latest replacement, it looked used. The neck of the guitar was cover in a film of some kind of dirt, and the body of the guitar has some scratches and scuff marks front and back. Yeah it works great now, but I'm not entirely happy about the physical condition of this guitar. I paid for new and I want new. Not someone else's beat up refurbished guitar. If I had sent them a scratched up guitar, I'd be understanding of the condition of this one. But I didn't. Especially not when the one I'm going to send back to them is still mint.

Can someone officially give me a hand here or help me out and let me know who I need to speak to so that I can have this refurbished one replaced for a new one. What I originally paid for. I didn't buy this new, to be sent refurbished parts on items that are not working from the get go. I would be understanding if it was me that broke it and I sent it in for repairs. Then yeah, I should get a refurbished one. But when "new" equipment is faulty from the start I should not get a used one as a replacement.

Who am I supposed to do?

As with most replacement programs there is a good chance you will get a used one with it. What do you think they do with yours that you send it? They fix the problems inside (as the outside is still fine) and send it out as a replacement. No different then what Microsoft does with the 360's when you get the RRoD. Most people get a used one back. They then take yours fix the heating problem and send yours as a replacement. Apple does the same for iPods. The iPod Nano (older gen) had battery problems you would send yours in and they would send you a used one (however they have it printed on their website that there is a good chance you will be getting a refurbed one).

Oh, I would be a bit miffed as well. We take good care of our things and I certainly wouldn't want someone's beat up one back.

I am even more happy that I was able to go back and get that extended 2 year warranty from Walmart and will be exchanging our bundles for new bundles if this one ever breaks.

I guess I kinda understand their position, but they should look over the thing and make sure it's in as good of condition as it can be before they send it back out. :s
