I have a sticky situation with a set of Drums that I was planning on RMAing.

I say PLANNING on because I put through the request and had the new set of pads shipped to me. My problem was that the set I had was picking up double hits like mad, preventing me from getting combos going long enough to 5 gold star some songs.

Anyways, I get the new pads and try them out, they are rock solid and completely isolated from each other no matter how hard I hit them, but they are MUCH, MUCH, MUCH less responsive. Think, hitting as hard and as fast as I possibly, humanly can at the same time to hit the drum roll in train Kept a rolling.

I can do this on the old set with minimal force and quick light taps.

Anyways I looked at the new drum set and noticed the improvements that Harmonix has since added. I decided to try them on my own set, namely extra padding for the outside pads to get them to be responsive without picking up other hits.

Long story short (too late) my old set works great, in fact, almost exactly as I want it to while the new unresponsive set sits in the corner.

Is there any way to just return the new set??? I really want to keep the old one now, and I figured that as long as Harmonix gets A set back, it really doesnt matter either way, right?
