*coughsantanacough*
Once upon a time I did have Purple Haze by The Jimi Hendrix Experience in there, but 'Try' would have pretty challenging vocals, plus, we need that funk.

Wrong Misfits song or it's in the wrong era. Dig Up Her Bones was 1997.

Ok, I just think Janis Joplin was really annoying singing wise. I don't really like Santana, but they're pretty cool.
You should add this song to the 90s list, it's pretty cool

You don't call Van Halen, Dio, KISS, and Girlschool metal? I think you need to brush up on your metal history.

Can't stop and What'S my age again were before 2000.
90s I guess.
It's a decent list though. No Must Haves for me, but a lot of okays.

they're hair metal. AKA hard rock. you need to brush up on metal itself. there are about 3000x more metal bands today. i wouldn't call it that, but today is the metal age compared to the 80's.

they were considered metal back then. the metal of today is VERY different.
now is more of the "pop, hip-hop/rap age"

so why are we considering them metal today?

I don't really consider them as modern metal.
I think they're just considered "'80s metal"
on Music Choice channels they would probably be "arena rock"
the music choice metal is the heavy stuff of today.

Exactly. Today people label them as different 'sub-genres' because of the similarities that the artists have. 100 years from now stuff like Britney Spears and Red Hot Chili Peppers would probably be 'oldies'.
Changed a couple songs in the list, see if you can notice the changes.

Bump.
It sort of sad that topics with horrible music get posted in more than topics with good music.
Please, if you're sane, post here.

Ah, well don't ask me, PM that guy or something... Don't you want to criticize my setlist, isn't that the main reason you came here? ... :D
Please, whether it's good or bad criticism, post here. :o

Give us a diffrent Doors and KISS song and your list will be almost perfect.
ALso for the Sex Psitols, change it to "God Save The Queen" or somthing better than Pretty Vacant

and where the **** is slayer?
Honestly now, having raped Police Truck in Guitar Hero: Rocks The 80s, Harmonix'll probably do a good job to make any Slayer song horrible and over-censored. I mean really, they changed the lyric from Police Truck from "drunk" to "punk". Sheesh, Raining Blood's title would be "Raining Water" if it was in RB. Harmonix aren't so innuendo-friendly either.
But some Slayer DLC could work. :)
to Rockerman: I chose Pretty Vacant over they're other songs because it would fit in to RB easier. In song such as God Save The Queen, Johnny's vocal stylings are sort of mediocre, he talks regularly instead of singing, most of the time, and that would be hard to fit into RB. Or that's atleast what I think. :D
Anyway, thanks for the comments, all. :D
